FALL 2026   

Another fall has arrived. As it gets underway, it usually seems more like the end of summer. Just a little cool around the edges. But those cooler temperatures  will soon seep into late mornings and early afternoon. Then crisp temperatures will embrace the beautiful fall colors. It's a great time to enjoy the outdoors. Hunting seasons get underway. Fish feed more heavily preparing for a lethargic winter. Reptiles and amphibians move about seeking their winter hides. Even a day hike wrapped in a sweater to see the scenery seems more enjoyable as the bloodthirsty insects of late summer begin to disappear!

What's on your list of favorite fall activities? We imagine Mike and Dana will be doing some fishing. They also will be looking to put a bit more venison in the freezer. Since their move to Tennessee, while they have had a few dove hunts on their new place, they have not, as of yet, taken a deer of their property. The focus was on food plots and improving the property for game. It seems to be working, as they are seeing a few doe and fawns on the food plots, and the game cameras are more active. With this years addition of baiting to the deer hunting game in Tennessee, we're pretty sure Dana is going to take advantage of the situation. Mike may join her, but he also plans to continue exploring the public land options in the area as well. 

We imagine Michael will be out looking for a few deer, perhaps joining Matt and Siobhan to look for a few reptiles and amphibians on their adventures! But you also may be wondering what has become of Chris? He seems to be focused on work, not content for our Florida Videos.  We hope that changes soon. Don't make us bring the rest of The Crew down there! Wait, maybe that's not such a bad idea. Winter is coming, and Florida is warm. We haven't heard from him for so long, a welfare check might just be in order!

The invasive snakehead is a load of fun to catch! Hard fighting and great eating. They bite well in the fall! If you get a chance to fish for them, DO IT!
